Turkmenbashi Complex of Oil Refineries in the nearly 75 years of its existence, has firmly established itself as the industrial flagship of Turkmenistan. It is state-of-art facility with enormous potential and rich industrial traditions. Today the share of Complex accounts for a quarter of industrial output produced in the country. Turkmenbashi COR produces unleaded motor gasoline, aviation and technical kerosene, jet fuel, diesel, fuel oil, lubricating oil, polypropylene, heating oil, light gas oil, petroleum electrode coke, liquefied gas, construction and road bitumen, synthetic detergents and etc. The enterprise plays an important role in providing a significant positive balance in the trade surplus of the country, supplying products to the CIS countries and Europe.


SC Turkmengas is a new innovative gas chemical complex for the production of polyethylene and polypropylene in Kiyanli. This large investment project worth more than 3.4 billion US dollars was implemented by the SC Turkmengas together with foreign partners – South Korean companies "LG International Corp" and "Hyundai Engineering" and the Japanese "TOYO Engineering Corporation". The production facilities of the new complex allow to process 5 billion cubic meters of natural gas per year and due to this produce 381 thousand tons of high density polyethylene, 81 thousand tons of polypropylene and other valuable products, as well as receive up to 4.5 billion cubic meters of marketable gas, which is scheduled to be sent to gas piping systems for use as fuel. The plant was launched in 2018.


JV «Uz-Kor Gas Chemical» - In the framework of bilateral cooperation between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Korea, the National Holding Company "Uzbekneftegaz" and the Consortium of Korean companies on a parity basis was established by joint venture in the form of a limited liability company «Uz-Kor Gas Chemical». The construction of the Ustyurt Gas Chemical Complex (UGCC) was completed in September of 2015. The complex consists of 5 main plants: Gas separation plant; Ethylene production plant; Polyethylene production plant; Polypropylene production plant; Energy supply plant. 387 thousand tons of polyethylene; 83 thousand tons of polypropylene; 102 thousand tons of distillation product; 8 thousand tons of pyrolysis.

The company has engaged in the domestic trading, import/export and overseas trading of various products such as textiles, machinery, information and communications-related products, metals, products related to oil and other energy sources, general merchandise, chemicals, and provisions and food.


Shurtan Gas-Chemical Complex has been put into operation in late 2001 and is part of the Holding company "Uzbekneftegaz". The processing capacity is up to 4.0 billion m3 of raw gas per year. Among its products: methane (up to 3.5 billion m3), polyethylene granules (more than 125 thousand tons), liquefied gas (over 100 thousand tons), light gas condensate (over 100 thousand tons), granulated Sulphur (about 1.5 tons) and more than 2.5 tons of finished products in the form of pipes and fittings for pressure pipelines. Technologies of Shurtan Gas-Chemical Complex is designed to produce about 150 kinds of polyethylene of high, medium and linear low density. To date, about 20% polyethylene is sold for export to various neighboring and overseas countries: Europe (Italy, Holland, Poland, Hungary, Lithuania, Latvia, Turkey), Asia (Iran, Pakistan, China), CIS (Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan).

XINJIANG TIANYE Co takes the leading position in the production of polymeric products (PVC resins), hydraulic and fittings, PVC pipes, films for agricultural purpose, caustic soda, cement and other chemical products, and food. In addition, the company is engaged in mining activities, construction, trade and real estate.


SIBUR HOLDING is the largest petrochemical company of Russia and Eastern Europe with full industrial cycle from gas processing, production of monomers, plastics and synthetic rubbers to the production of mineral fertilizers, tyres and plastics processing.
